Microwave Corn on the Cob Recipe


This is a quick and easy way to make corn on the cob without having to boil a big pot of water.  To microwave fresh from the farm corn see Annie’s post Sweet Corn So Easy.

Prep time:  2 minutes     Cook time:  7 minutes     Serves:  8

Corn on the Cob recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 small or 4 large frozen corn on the cob
  • Toppings such as salt and butter (optional)

Instructions

     1.  Place a moist towel on a microwave safe plate.  Place the corn on top and then wrap the towel over the corn.

     2.  Microwave on high for 6 minutes (times may vary depending on the microwave).

     3.  Let the corn sit in microwave for a minute before removing.

     4.  Serve with corn on the cob holders and your favorite toppings.
