Mango and Raspberry Ice Cream Recipe

Homemade ice cream is the perfect cool summer treat. You can use any type of fresh fruit and it is always an instant hit.

Preparation: 30 minutes | Cook: 30 minutes | Serves: 8

Creamy Dessert Ice cream Rasperries


  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 mangoes
  • 6 ounce container of fresh raspberries

* You will need an ice cream maker.


  1. Pre-freeze your ice cream maker’s gel container.
  2. Heat 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and sugar in large pot. Bring the mix to a simmer and stir until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and keep mixture warm.
  3. Separate the egg yolks and beat until thickened.
  4. Gradually add 1 cup of the hot cream mixture to the egg yolks while whisking constantly.
  5. Pour the egg yolk mix into the remaining pot of hot cream.
  6. Increase the heat to medium and stir constantly until the mixture has thickened.
  7. Add the remaining cup of heavy whipping cream and vanilla. Refrigerate at least 6 hours.
  8. About an hour before you are ready to serve the ice cream puree the mangoes in food processor or blender.
  9. Pull cream mixture out of freezer and allow to soften for 15 minutes.
  10. Stir the cream mixture together with the pureed fruit and add mixture to your ice cream maker.
  11. Let the ice cream maker do its magic. This should take about 25 minutes. Check ice cream until its consistency is what you like and enjoy.
