A Moveable Feast Read-a-Long: Week 2

The A Moveable Feast: Week Two Read-a-Long discussion is going great. What I enjoy most about book discussions are the many varied insights expressed by other readers. It’s a great way to learn!

I am a Hemingway fan and I am LOVING A Moveable Feast. His various sketches on Paris and his fellow artists are amazing. His writings on Ezra Pound, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Gertrude Stein have me wanting to learn more about each of them.

A Moveable Feast Read-a-Long: Chapters 1-9

I have so far loved the Week 1 Chapters 1-9 A Moveable Feast Read-a-Long hosted by Wallace at Unputdownables.net. I am thoroughly enjoying Hemingway’s depictions of life in Paris as an expat, and I long to visit Sylvia Beach’s Shakespeare & Company bookstore, to listen to Gertrude Stein’s pontificating and most especially to know his first wife Hadley.
