Zucchini Pesto Skillet Pizza Recipe

This pizza tastes great with just about any vegetable from your garden.  Use the homemade dough for a healthier alternative.

Preparation: 5 minutes | Cook: 17 minutes | Serves:  6



  • 16 ounce package of refrigerated pizza dough, halved or Homemade Pizza Dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons pesto
  • 2 tablespoons goat or feta cheese (I tried both and they were both delicious!)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 zucchini, sliced


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Coat an ovenproof 12 inch skillet with olive oil.
  3. Press the pizza dough into the bottom and partially up the sides of the skillet.
  4. Spread pesto and goat or feta cheese over the crust.  Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.  Top with the zucchini.
  5. Bake at 450 degrees for 17 minutes, or until cheese is melted and crust has browned.
