Zucchini Pesto Skillet Pizza Recipe
This pizza tastes great with just about any vegetable from your garden. Use the homemade dough for a healthier alternative.
Preparation: 5 minutes | Cook: 17 minutes | Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 16 ounce package of refrigerated pizza dough, halved or Homemade Pizza Dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons pesto
- 2 tablespoons goat or feta cheese (I tried both and they were both delicious!)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 zucchini, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Coat an ovenproof 12 inch skillet with olive oil.
- Press the pizza dough into the bottom and partially up the sides of the skillet.
- Spread pesto and goat or feta cheese over the crust. Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese. Top with the zucchini.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 17 minutes, or until cheese is melted and crust has browned.
