Glazed Pork Tenderloin Recipe

This roasted pork tenderloin recipe with a nice tangy lemony, brown sugar glaze is a crowd pleaser. Delicious cooked on the grill as well!

Prep: 15 minutes | Cook: 1 hour | Serves: 6

Glazed Pork

  • 2 pork tenderloins
  • 1/2 cup butter, divided
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • a pinch of cayenne pepper

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup of butter. Place both tenderloins in the skillet and lightly brown on all sides. Place pork tenderloins side-by-side in a large baking dish. Make sure tenderloins are not touching.
  3. In the same skillet used to brown the tenderloin, combine the remaining 1/4 cup of butter and remaining ingredients over low heat. Stirring occasionally, bring glaze to boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Brush glaze generously over each pork tenderloin. Set remaining glaze aside, and place tenderloins in oven. Bake for about an hour, brushing glaze on the tenderloin every 15 minutes. (Reapply glaze three times during entire baking period.)
  5. Allow pork tenderloins to rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
