Candy Pacifiers

These are a fun decoration or favor for a baby shower.  This was for Lori’s baby shower so I used the blue melting disks.  The disks come in a variety of colors to match the theme of your party.

Prep:  20 minutes     Cook time:  about 1 minute in microwave      Makes: 20 candy pacifiers

lemon drop, melting wafer, lifesaver

Ingredients

  • 30 melting wafers in your desired color
  • 20 lemon drops
  • 20 life savers

Instructions

  1. Melt 10 of the wafers to make the glue that will hold everything together.  Place the wafers in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds.  Stir and place back in the microwave for 30 more seconds if not completely melted.
  2. Place a small drop of the melted wafer on another melting wafer and hold for about 30 seconds until it is set.  Set aside as you adhere the lemon drops to the rest of the wafers.
  3. Place the lemon drop through a wire rack.  See picture below.
  4. Place a drop of the melted wafers on top of the wafer and attach the lifesaver, holding it for about 30 seconds until it is set.   Let them stand until the melted wafer glue has hardened.

  1. Well wish me luck as I attempt to make these for a upcoming shower. My niece is having a baby and she had pacifiers all over the place when she was growing up. It came time to take them away and I told her we would mail them to a child that didn’t have any. So for her shower I making a box of these and wrapping them as a shower gift.
