Weekend Cooking: Angry Birds Cake
The Angry Birds craze has hit our house so it was no surprise when my son wanted an Angry Birds birthday party. This cake was so easy to assemble and provided tons of entertainment.

The kids (and some of the adults) took turns using a slingshot to shoot angry bird figurines at the cake.

To make the cake, use two 9 x 13 cakes, one for the base and the other to make the different elevations. Keebler Fudge Sticks can be used to make the pig hideout and green M&Ms for the surrounding grass. I got the angry bird figurines from Amazon. |

That is the most fantastic thing I’ve seen in forever! My kids adore that cake and I’m sure I’m going to get asked to make one for at least one of their birthdays this year.

Amanda- I was surprised how quickly this cake came together. Usually it takes me most of the morning to make their birthday cakes but I baked the cakes the night before and the next day it was done in about 20 minutes.

Wonderful! We may make this for an UNbirthday – one snowy day we’re stuck at home this winter. So clever, thanks for sharing …. and a very happy birthday to your son!
