Pioneer Book Club Ideas
For Saturday Snapshot, hosted by Alyce from At Home With Books, I am posting some pictures from Pioneer Day at my son’s school. If your book club is reading a book about the good ole days, here are some ideas to help transport your guests back to the prairie.

This cow is cut out of cardboard and covered with cotton batting. A glove serves as the udder.

The wagon is made out of scrap wood with PCV pipes used to support a white sheet. A quilt can be used as the backdrop.

One of the activities on Pioneer Day was making homemade butter in a baby food jar. Click here to for the instructions.
