We would like to share a notable site with you – www.indiebound.org.

IndieBound let’s you search for independently owned bookstores in your community and any community you may be visiting. You can also search for other types of locally owned businesses. This is a great way to support the unique flair of communities across the United States.

I love the feeling I get whenever I walk into one of these charming bookstores. I lose myself among the shelves as I consider what to read. I can then settle into a cozy little nook, open a book and begin my adventure.

Become an indie-conscious person and join their online community. As a member you can find, share and review independently owned businesses and become a friend of those businesses. You can also create book lists to share with others and keep in touch with your IndieBound friends.
