A Walk About Town: A Book Lover’s Dream
When we were looking for a place to move, the top three requirements on our list were a great school, a safe and friendly neighborhood and fun activities nearby. We found an area outside of Austin that seemed to have what we were looking for, but what led us to contact a real estate agent that day was this:
The public library and a bookstore right next to each other. I couldn’t believe my eyes! And to top it all off, right in front of the library there is a splash pad for the kids to go nuts on and outdoor seating where I can kick back and get started on all the awesome reads I just acquired. It is this book lover’s dream place to live.

What a great neighborhood! What’s a splash pad?

A splash pad is a concrete area that has water shooting out of the ground, usually at random intervals so the kids never know where the water is going to come up (until they figure out the pattern).

Oh, my goodness! I love it. I totally would have chosen to move there as well, what an ideal location. Not to mention, this spot is so pretty, too! I love the design of it. I’ve heard so much about Austin, I can’t wait to visit one day!
