Weenie Dogs Wrapped in a Blanket Recipe
These mini sausages wrapped in crescent rolls are super simple and super delicious.
Inspired by Rin Tin Tin: The Life and The Legend
Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 13-17 minutes Yield: 32 mini dogs

Ingredients
- 2 8-ounce cans of refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 14-ounce package of cocktail sausages, such as Lit’l Smokies®
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Unroll one can of the crescent rolls. You should have two sheets. Note the diagonal perforations that form the four triangles on each sheet. Taking a sharp knife, make opposite diagonal cuts which will split the triangles in half. You will have 8 triangles per sheet for a total of 16 triangles per can of dough. Repeat with remaining can of crescent rolls.
- Wrap each cocktail sausage with a triangle of dough and place on a large baking sheet. Spray each Weenie Dog Wrapped in a Blanket with cooking spray. Bake for 13-17 minutes until golden brown. Serve with mustard.
