Parmesan Flower Recipe


I used a flower shaped silicone baking pan* to make these Parmesan wafers.  You could also mound the Parmesan on a baking sheet or use a variety of other forms to make different shapes.   These tasty wafers that can be used as a substitute for crackers or as a garnish for soups and salads.

Prep:  3 minutes    Cook time:  4-6 minutes

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Pimentos, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray the bottom of your baking pan with cooking spray.
  3. Sprinkle a layer of Parmesan cheese so it just covers the bottom.  Place some chopped pimentos in the center to make the  flower design.
  4. Bake for 4-6 minutes until the cheese is melted and starts to brown.
