Mini Mushroom Tarts Recipe



These mushroom tarts are easy to make and sure to impress.

Prep: 15 minutes | Chill: 1 hour | Cook: 10 minutes | Yield:  3 dozen

Ingredients

  • 36 mini phyllo shells
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, saute onions and mushroom in butter until tender.
  2. Stir in salt, thyme, flour and pepper.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in sour cream and chill for one hour or overnight.
  4. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  5. Place mini phyllo shells on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  6. Spoon chilled mushroom mixture into each shell.  Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
