Maple Sausage Appetizers Recipe

This is a quick and easy sausage appetizer to throw together when time is short.  This party-pleaser has only three ingredients!
Adapted from Little B Cook Chronicles from a Vermont Foodie

Inspired by Midwives

Prep time: 5 minutes    Cook time: 10 minutes     Serves: 8-10

Maple Sausage Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 2 packages Kielbasa sausage, fully cooked
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of coarse or whole ground Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Cut sausage diagonally into 1/2″ sections. Place in large skillet and cook over medium heat until the sausage is heated through and lightly browned. Drain sausage on paper towels and place in serving dish.
  2. In a small sauce pan over medium heat, add maple syrup and mustard. Bring just to boil, then pour over sausage.  Serve warm with toothpicks.
