Francesca’s Simple Tomato Salad Recipe
A simple tomato salad was Francesca’s favorite dish to make with her husband’s sun-warmed tomatoes. Use garden fresh ingredients, if possible, for the most intense flavor.
Serve with Crusty Rosemary Bread.
Prep: 15 minutes | Servings: 8
Ingredients
- 4 tomatoes
- 1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh oregano, chopped
- pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cut up tomatoes and toss in bowl. Add a healthy dose of virgin olive oil. Add garlic, basil and oregano. Salt and pepper to taste.
